Summer Study at Penn State Triple Play Courses

6-Week Triple Play Enrichment Program Curriculum Information

Students in our 6-week Triple Play enrichment program may CHOOSE a summer curriculum which includes an intensive workshop for 2 weeks, real-life work experience through a hands-on summer enrichment internship for 2 weeks, and an opportunity to give back to the community for 2 weeks in our community service workshop. Each workshop and internship meets for approximately 3 hours per day, Monday through Friday. In addition, students may also take a 1-hour enrichment class or EdisonLearning™ High School credit course which run for the full 6 weeks. Availability of all enrichment courses/workshops/internships will depend upon the interest and registration of accepted students. Summer Study Programs reserves the right to change course availability (add or delete courses) and alter scheduling. EdisonLearning™ High School Credit Classes

The following classes, offered by EdisonLearning™ and Summer Study Programs, are available for high school credit to all 6-week Triple Playparticipants. These high school classes may be used to get ahead in one's high school curriculum for the upcoming school year or to recover credits from the previous school year. EdisonLearning™ will assist students in gaining approval from their local school district in order to gain high school credits. Final class selections are made in the spring. These classes are taught completely online, instructor assisted, and will require students to "self-pace" their efforts in order to complete the course by the end of their program or by a September 30, 2012 deadline.
