For more than a decade, Summer Study Programs has been the leader in pre-college programs for high school students. Our full time staff works all year to ensure the ongoing quality of our programs. 	Mike Sirowitz, BA Director of Programs and Operations Ever since his first summer as a camp counselor, Mike has dedicated his life to working with teenagers. His tremendous organizational skills, commitment to excellence and passion for what he does are the cornerstone of Summer Study programming. 	Brett Goodman, BA Director of Student Activities As a Leo and a summer baby, Brett feels the most comfortable and thrives in the warm and sunny months between June and September. He has many years of experience as a camper, counselor, and facilitator, both at sleep-away camp and at Summer Study at Penn State. He also has experience in events planning and coordination as well as designing fun and exciting student activities. 	Jason Thaw, BA Director of Student Enrollment A student athlete during his college years Jason, spent most of his time traveling to tournaments throughout New England and missed out on the true “college experience.” Now with his position at Summer Study Programs, he enjoys living vicariously through the students, and is known to get in on the fun himself. His charming personality, and the care that he has for the students in the programs is apparent from the very first time you meet him. 	Deborah Draper, BA, MA, H.Dip.Ed. Director of Campus Life Having spent many years working & studying in Paris, Deborah loves nothing better than spending her summers back in this amazing city. Deborah has many years experience working with teenagers, as throughout the academic year she works as a French teacher in Ireland. Deborah finds working with young people incredibly rewarding, this is why she spends her summers as part of the Summer Study team. 	Tom Cook, BS, MS Program Coordinator After graduating from Penn State, Tom starting teaching high school just outside Philadelphia. His love for the students is evident in his teaching style and his involvement in many extra-curricular activities. Tom is an internationally recognized Ultimate Frisbee coach and has coached in multiple world championships.
